Und die letzte dieser Freuden war die Nachricht von ihrem bevorstehenden Tod und ihr Tod selbst. Freudig, leise und feierlich vollzog sich dieses Ereignis.<\/p>\n<p>Er bringt uns dazu, \u00fcber unsere eigene Sterblichkeit nachzudenken. F\u00fcr uns ist der Tod etwas Be\u00e4ngstigendes, Bedeutungsloses, etwas, an das man besser nicht denkt. Warum ist das so? Es liegt daran, dass wir uns selbst kein ausreichendes Verst\u00e4ndnis davon geben, was der Tod ist.<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt drei Geburten im menschlichen Leben: die fleischliche Geburt, auf die man sich mehrere Monate lang vorbereitet; die geistliche Geburt im Sakrament der Taufe, die ebenfalls eine Vorbereitung erfordert; und die Geburt ins ewige Leben, auf die wir uns normalerweise nicht vorbereiten, die aber unsere Vorbereitung w\u00e4hrend unseres gesamten irdischen Lebens erfordert.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-13701\" src=\"https:\/\/nadegda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_6512.JPG\" alt=\"IMG 6512\" width=\"100\" height=\"75\" style=\"float: left;\" \/>Aufgrund unseres mangelnden Verst\u00e4ndnisses der letzten Geburt kommt es am Krankenbett der Sterbenden so oft zu gro\u00dfer Verwirrung, Aufregung, Verzweiflung und unn\u00f6tiger Qu\u00e4lerei der Entschlafenen mit verschiedenen medizinischen Mitteln, statt zu betender Ehrfurcht vor dem stattfindenden Sakrament.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00f6ge das heutige Fest der Entschlafung der Gottesmutter uns an unsere dritte Geburt erinnern und daran, wie wir sie empfangen sollen. Und m\u00f6ge die Heilige Jungfrau unsere F\u00fcrsprecherin, unsere Helferin und Patronin in diesem gro\u00dfen Augenblick unseres Lebens sein!<\/p>\n<p><em>Bischof
