September ist der Tag der heiligen M\u00e4rtyrerinnen Vera, Hope, Love und ihrer Mutter Sophia. Die Geschichte dieses Feiertags hat ihre Wurzeln tief in der Vergangenheit. Es geschah im II. Jahrhundert in Italien. In einer der St\u00e4dte lebte Sophia und sie hatte drei T\u00f6chter. Sie bekannten sich zum Christentum. Die Zeiten waren f\u00fcr Christen damals schwer genug, denn die meisten Menschen in Italien waren Heiden. Die Mutter und die M\u00e4dchen verbargen ihren Glauben jedoch keineswegs, wof\u00fcr sie den Preis zahlten. Die Familie wurde grausamen Prozessen unterworfen und anschlie\u00dfend massakriert. Alle vier M\u00e4rtyrer, die im Namen Christi gelitten haben, wurden heiliggesprochen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;* * *<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:
