Празднование Рождества Иоанна Предтечи в Бохуме
«Пророче и Предтече пришествия Христова, достойно восхвалити тя недоумеем мы, любовию чтущии тя: неплодство бо рождшия и отчее безгласие разрешися, славным и честным твоим рождеством, и воплощение Сына Божия мирови проповедуется«. (Тропарь, глас 4)

«До Амьена — далеко, до Бохума — близко!»

  Чтобы почтить память величайшего Пророка и побывать на празднике в честь его Дня рождения, не надо какого-то особого приглашения, достаточно найти в интернете ближайший приход, где правится ему служба.
На этот раз им оказался храм Георгия Победоносца в Бохуме, где служит о. Виталий Сазонов, а хором руководит его матушка — Анастасия.
Неспешно прошло всенощное бдение с литией и помазанием елеем. Молитвенно пел хор, взывая ко Крестителю: «Немолчно, яко глас вопиющаго, Избавителя мира, Крестителю, моля не престай душевное разрешити неплодие поющих твое рождество« (тропарь канона).
Утром — Божественная литургия, затем — братская трапеза.

Слава Богу за чудесный праздник, а устроителям его — большое спасибо!
