Неделя 32-я по Пятидесятнице, по Богоявлении

  «Народ, сидящий во тьме, увидел свет великий,
и сидящим в стране и тени смертной воссиял свет» (Мф. 4:16).

Евангелие, читаемое сегодня, даёт нам надежду и учит быть христианами.

Господь поселился в Капернауме — не в святом и богобоязненном городе, а в Галилее языческой!
Так и с нашей душой, и с обществом, и со страной… Вдруг в душе являются светлые моменты: добрые чувства, святые желания — это Господь приходит в нашу темноту. Нужно только всегда помнить, что эта «тень смертная» — она и есть настоящее наше, внутреннее. И каждый раз, когда в ней воссиявает свет, нужно радоваться и  молиться, чтобы Господь был с нами.
Потрудимся же осознать нашу тьму и увидеть в ней Христов свет!
